W hat is the buying power of my Church worth?
This depends on how many families are in the congregation and how much they spend each month through your BuyToTheGlory.com Mall. A Church with 50 families
spending an average of $400 among the 140+ merchants would generate approximately 2,400 points each month. These points would generate a donation
to the Church of $1,800.00
H ow do the bonus points work?
Bonus points are created when a member of a Church sends a referral through the Church Mall and the referred Church registers for BuyToTheGlory.com
The referred Church will begin accumulating points with their own purchases. Your Church will receive 10 bonus points for each 100 points the
referred Church earns. These points are added to your earned points and the donation you receive each month will be based on the total points. Take the simple
example of referring 10 Churches that earn the same number of points that you do. You will double your point value to 4,800 and receive a donation of $3,600.00
H ow and when is the donation made?
BuyToTheGlory.com makes donations based on even multiples of 100 points earned. Any points remaining will be carried over to the next month.
The donation is calculated based on the payout scale and a check is sent after the commissions are received from the sponsoring merchants. This typically
will occur about 25-30 days after the end of the month in which the points are earned.
O ther sites providing similar programs work on percentages, why does BuyToTheGlory.com use points?
Using points allows us to do two things that other sites do not do. First, we track points based on your purchases and
increase the payout as your point levels grow. Second, as BuyToTheGlory grows, many merchants pay a higher commission and
each purchase earn more points, since our points are based on the commissions paid, we can more easily apply the
correct number of points to your Church's earnings.
W hat is the limit?
BuyToTheGlory.com does not limit you in any way. We want to say as far as the East is from the West, but won't. You are limited by the commitment of your
own congregation and the number or referrals you make.
I 'm not sure if my Church will approve?
We hope it does and think it will. The proof will be in the congregation's commitment to shopping at the Church Mall first. Our suggestion is to help them
understand that if they are going to buy it anyway, shop at BuyToTheGlory.com and divert the commissions to the Church.
The donations will begin arriving each month and we are convinced that your Church will deposit the funds and apply the money to
ministries that could use a little more funding. If, in fact a Church refuses the donation and returns our check, our policy
is to donate those funds to ministries in that Church's locale, we won't keep anything that we've committed to give back.
I s this some kind of scam?
BuyToTheGlory.com was conceived out of the desire to implement a way to enhance our own Church's finances. Although, the path is not easy to explain, it led from
being on the Finance Team of a Church, to trying to build up new ministries, to 1 Corinthians 10:31, to being exposed to internet commerce and then watching it all come together. We understand
your skepticism and appreciate it, it keeps us where we need to be and focused on the right things. It would do you no good for us to answer the question directly (an emphatic NO!), but ask you to think through a few
points. 1) Even if this is a scam, it costs the Church nothing and no private information has been given out. 2) At worst, some members have purchased items they would have purchased elsewhere and
created commissions that would have been sent elsewhere. 3) The Church would know it is a scam within 6-8 weeks of registering and there would be no more purchases in the Church's Mall.
4) Most important to us, if this is a scam, we not only will fail to feed our kids, but we will have to answer to God for our attempt to deceive, not just anyone, His Church.
